LEGO Titanic
A brick-by-brick LEGO RMS Titanic build-along, with the story behind the ship: why the hull was red below the waterline, why one of her four funnels was fake, and what 987 bricks in 6 real colours look like. Dry-humoured, no baseplate, every brick listed.
Parts list
Every brick by size and real LEGO colour (the standard “Brick” part numbers, as used by Rebrickable and BrickLink). Rough cost is an estimate at LEGO Pick-a-Brick-style prices; shipping extra.

Did you know?
- The largest ship afloat when she entered service in 1912, at 882 ft 9 in (269 m) long.
- She had four funnels, but only three worked - the fourth was a vent added to make her look more powerful.
- The hull was black above the waterline and painted red below it, to keep barnacles off.
- She carried 20 lifeboats with room for 1,178 people - roughly half of those aboard.
